1. How to Turn Off iPhone Screen with Virtual Home Button
AssistiveTouch, also known as the virtual Home button, is highly versatile. With the virtual Home button, you can quickly access various functions such as screen rotation lock, screen capture, volume adjustment, mute, phone restart, and even screen lock. All you need to do is customize the control menu in settings to lock the iPhone screen with touch gestures using the following steps:
Step 1: Navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch and enable AssistiveTouch.
Step 2: Select Customize Top Menu Level > tap on the plus icon (+).
Step 3: In the System menu, select Lock Screen and press the Done button to enable screen lock for the virtual Home button on iPhone.
Step 4: To turn off the iPhone screen without using the power button, tap the virtual Home button and choose Device > Lock Screen. That's it!
2. Turning off the iPhone screen by tapping the back
On iPhone X and later, you can lock the screen by tapping 2 or 3 times on the back of the device with the following steps:
