The endless tea hills, majestic Đạm Ri waterfall, and year-round cloud-covered Bảo Lộc Pass make Bảo Lộc an enchanting destination.
Rainy Season Adventures in Bảo Lộc
Timing
If you're into exploration, it's best to avoid coming here during the months of August, September, and October (the rainy season). Conversely, if you prefer tranquility and a slower pace of life, this is the perfect time for you to visit Bảo Lộc.

Getting Around
You can reach here by ferry, private car, or motorbike. If traveling by ferry, from Ho Chi Minh City, you can purchase tickets to Bảo Lộc at the Eastern Bus Station or from reputable bus companies. Ticket prices range from 150,000 to 220,000 dong. Alternatively, you can buy plane tickets to Liên Khương Airport. However, this mode of transportation is not ideal as the distance from the airport to Bảo Lộc is quite far (80 km).
Where to Stay?
Budget hotels and guesthouses range from 200,000 to 300,000 dong per night. If you prefer not to stay in the city center, you can venture to the outskirts and stay with locals or camp on their land.
What to Eat?

Aside from tea and coffee, this city lacks notable specialties. However, you can find unique flavors in the familiar dishes of this region.
You can find various types of jams from Đà Lạt sold at Bảo Lộc market. Near the market stalls, there are a few knitting shops where you can order custom designs.
Where to Go?
In the heart of Bảo Lộc City, the most notable destination is Trắng Lake. You can save exploration for the night. It's best to rent a motorbike to explore the neighborhoods and nearby districts.
The first stop should be Đạm Ri Waterfall, about 18 km from the center of Bảo Lộc City. This is the highest waterfall in Lâm Đồng province.
From Đạm Ri Waterfall, ask locals for directions to Lộc Quảng Lake (Bảo Lâm district). The lake is nestled amidst hills and tea plantations, offering a picturesque and delightful experience. Swimming in the lake or taking photos with the tea hills will be an unforgettable experience.

If you have steady hands behind the wheel, you can venture through Bảo Lộc Pass, admiring each mountain peak shrouded in clouds, feeling the danger of the winding roads, and the allure of the abyss.
After exploring this region thoroughly, you can take a ride up to Đà Lạt or down to Đạ Hoai district to discover the streams.
