10. Hank Pym
As the original Ant-Man, Hank Pym lost his wife when she was shrunk to the molecular level and trapped in the quantum realm while trying to stop a nuclear bomb. Although they were later reunited, Hank Pym endured a lifetime of agony, tormenting himself over the loss of his beloved wife.
