realme 12+ 5G Achieves Significant Certifications, Key Technical Specifications Revealed

realme is gearing up to launch realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ on January 29 in global markets. Reports have already unveiled the model numbers of both these phones. However, it appears that the Chinese company is also developing a new variant of this product line, named realme 12+ 5G.

As evident in the photo below, Malaysia's certification platform has approved a new realme device identified by model number RMX3867. The confirmation list indicates it will be called realme 12+ 5G upon launch in the Malaysian market.

The emergence of realme 12+ 5G seems imminent as it has previously been spotted on other certification platforms such as Indonesia's TKDN and SDPPI, as well as the FCC. Here, the product is revealed to run on realmeUI 5 user interface and come with features like 5G, dual SIM, and NFC.

The CameraV5 list suggests that realme 12+ 5G will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system consisting of 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel lenses. Other details of the device are yet to be revealed.

Last week, a realme phone identified with model number RMX3866 was approved by China's 3C certification platform. The list reveals that the device may support 67W fast charging. It's highly likely that RMX3866 is the Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G.
