realme GT 5 showcases impressive performance with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip on Geekbench

On August 28th, realme will officially unveil their next premium smartphone, the realme GT 5. This phone is expected to feature extremely impressive hardware specs with 240W fast charging and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

Just days before its launch, realme seems to be testing the GT 5 on Geekbench, giving us an initial glimpse of its performance.

As seen in the image above, the upcoming realme GT 5 is detected on Geekbench with model number RMX3820. This phone will run on Android 13 upon launch, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, coupled with an impressive 16GB of RAM. In terms of performance, the device scores 2,017 points in single-core test and 5,408 points in multi-core test.

realme GT 5 features ultra-thin bezels

Realme has recently begun introducing this device in China. In a recent teaser, the company unveiled that the GT 5 will feature a 'Miracle Glass' finish. On the front, this smartphone is revealed to have a 6.74-inch OLED display, supporting 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The new Realme smartphone may be offered in multiple storage options starting from 128GB and up to 1TB. It comes with two battery variants: a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging and a 5,200mAh battery with 150W fast charging.
