Samsung's Galaxy A series has always been a hit at The Gioi Di Dong. The latest representative is the Galaxy A22 - a smartphone that is garnering a lot of attention in the 5 - 6 million VND price range. After some time with it, I believe the A22 is more than capable of meeting, even exceeding, the expectations of an average user.
Specifically, how is the Galaxy A22 equipped by Samsung? What attractive features does it have? Let's find out in this article!
Experience better-than-expected camera performance

For the most average user, a good smartphone should be able to capture photos quickly, sharp enough to capture memorable moments, or directly upload to social networks.
When talking about the Galaxy A22, the highlight must be the quality of the quad rear camera setup, which is equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS) typically found only in expensive flagship models.
The device features all the most common camera sensors today including: Main 48 MP sensor, 8 MP ultra-wide lens with 123-degree field of view, 2 MP depth sensor, and lastly a 2 MP macro lens.

Ordinary users are likely to use the automatic shooting mode extensively, and the Galaxy A22 will handle it easily thanks to OIS. Photo and video capture are less blurry in low light conditions or when constantly moving.
Furthermore, the addition of multiple lenses, different modes such as wide-angle, portrait blur, macro, along with new animations and stickers that Samsung has integrated will allow users to unleash their creativity and enjoy virtual experiences.
Therefore, the photography experience on the Galaxy A22 is very enjoyable, easily meeting the needs of the majority of users. You can check out my detailed review of the A22 camera below.

An AMOLED screen for watching movies, browsing the web

In my experience with the Galaxy A22, I find the entertainment capabilities of this screen quite satisfactory. It features a large 6.4-inch display, a premium Super AMOLED panel that produces vibrant colors, perfect for entertainment activities such as watching movies, browsing social media.
However, what truly sets the A22 apart in this aspect is its 90Hz refresh rate, making swiping and touching smoother. It's a new, distinct experience compared to previous generations of Galaxy A.

If you're a bit picky, you might notice that the chin under the Galaxy A22's screen doesn't seem thin and balanced with the other edges, and the resolution only stops at HD+.
However, I think the quality AMOLED panel and 90Hz refresh rate will be a major plus, filling in the gaps of those two weaknesses. Overall, there might be some trade-offs, but considering the price range, it's a bit challenging to expect more from Samsung.
Decent performance for everyday tasks, 5,000 mAh battery lasts all day

The Galaxy A22's performance comes from the Helio G80 chip. In comparison, the performance of the G80 chip will be comparable, even superior to the Snapdragon 665 and inferior to the newer Snapdragon 678.

With the optimization of OneUI, you can rest assured that the A22 handles daily tasks smoothly, such as chatting, checking work emails, browsing Facebook, etc. When it comes to gaming, it generally runs smoothly on lightweight titles like Fruit Ninja, Zombie Tsunami. As for games like Arena of Valor, it can still perform well, but it's limited to 30FPS.

It's worth noting that Samsung seems quite generous as the Galaxy A22 comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM by default, which is a considerable storage capacity at this price range. Multitasking capabilities are now much better, and there's plenty of storage space for gaming and photo storage.

Last but not least, we can't overlook the impressive 5,000 mAh battery of the Galaxy A22. Our team's battery review article showcased its remarkable endurance, lasting up to 12 hours on a single charge, and even allowing for over 10 hours of intense gaming like Mobile Legends, which is truly commendable.

Galaxy A22: A Worthwhile User Experience

In summary, you'll get a sophisticated OIS camera setup, a good display, sufficient performance, and notably impressive battery life. All these strong points at a price range of only 5 - 6 million VND make it quite a steal, easily accessible for young users.
Above are the reasons explaining why I believe the Galaxy A22 will provide a worthwhile user experience for the majority of regular users. If you have any thoughts about this smartphone, feel free to share them in the comments section below!
