MacBooks, or computers in general, are indispensable devices. We may debate between purchasing a Windows or Mac computer, but we cannot debate whether or not to buy a computer. I use computers extensively, probably needless to say, as many of you understand. Due to various reasons, I decided to choose the MacBook Pro 14-inch M1 Pro, which I will share with you in this article.
Currently using: MacBook Pro 14-inch M1 Pro, priced at 40 million VND.
Before purchasing the MacBook Pro 14-inch, I used the MacBook Pro 13-inch 2020, running on Intel platform. Initially, it met my needs very well, but then gradually became inadequate when Apple Silicon was introduced.
Before that, I used a gaming laptop, weighing over 2.5kg, and it was truly heavy. The MacBook Pro 14-inch weighs approximately 1.6kg, still within an acceptable range.

1. Top Reasons to Choose MacBook Pro 14-inch M1 Pro: Meeting Professional Demands Excellently
I rely on MacBook for all my professional needs, including photo and video editing, document drafting, running virtual machines, and it's my convenient travel companion for business trips.
The connectivity options are noteworthy too. With built-in ports, I no longer worry about carrying USB hubs or SD card readers. Although I use HDMI less frequently, it's still a handy feature to have.
The display alone justifies my MacBook purchase. It's simply the best laptop screen out there, no questions asked.
Lastly, the battery, while not massive in capacity, thanks to Apple's optimization, I can comfortably work all day without worrying about running out of power.2. Real-world Experience: Nothing to Complain About
Honestly, there's nothing to complain about my 14-inch MacBook Pro at this point. Its performance is silky smooth, effortlessly handling the import of around 50-80 Fujifilm X-T4 raw images, which always feel heavier than raw files from Nikon or other cameras.
With 16GB of RAM, I find it sufficient for now. Since I couldn't upgrade, I opted for as much RAM as my budget allows. Ideally, 32GB would be more comfortable as I frequently run 2-3 virtual machines. However, for running virtual machines and a few browser tabs, 16GB is still fine.1. Other Options to Consider: MacBook Air M2, Fujitsu UH-X, LG gram Style
If you're still a MacBook fan but not keen on the Pro design, go for the Air. My suggestion is the MacBook Air M2, perfect for work and handling heavy tasks, although not as enduring as the MacBook Pro. The Fujitsu UH-X 2022 is what @Lư Thế Nghĩa is currently using. It's compact, very lightweight, offers decent performance, and has an SD card slot like the MacBook Pro. Battery life is also decent.
As for the LG gram Style, it's all about personality and style. This new Style series boasts a fashionable design with a hidden touchpad, good performance, lightweight build, and the durability LG gram is known for.
The Dell XPS 13 Plus is also a worthy contender, an incredibly innovative laptop featuring a 'Touch Bar' reminiscent of the old 13-inch MacBook Pro.
