(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - The deadline for transferring accounts from Garena to Riot is fast approaching.
With only a few days left, the League of Legends (LoL) community in Vietnam will transition to Riot's new platform. This transition has been anticipated beforehand, and on November 18, Riot opened the transfer portal for all gamers in the Vietnamese market. The deadline for the transfer, as announced by Riot, is the beginning of 2023.

However, there are still many gamers who want to enjoy the final days on the Garena server or haven't switched due to objective reasons. This will indeed pose many issues for both Riot and the gamers themselves. There are numerous reasons why Vietnamese LoL players should carry out the account transfer as soon as possible.
A multitude of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) have urged and warned about the risks that may occur if they don't 'move' before the deadline
Throughout the recent period, alongside Riot's announcements, numerous prominent KOLs in the Vietnamese LoL community have also addressed the account transfer issue. Renowned casters like Hoang Luan, Van Tung, and MC Minh Nghi have also created instructional videos on how gamers can transfer their accounts.

With a multitude of KOLs speaking up, it's evident that the migration is receiving considerable attention from Riot and will have a significant impact on the Vietnamese LoL community. This will be a large-scale 'migration' that attracts attention in the LoL community, both domestically and internationally.
Early migration helps players save time and effort
During migration periods, servers will experience a large influx of players logging in simultaneously, which can easily lead to issues such as server crashes, network congestion, overload, etc. Moreover, players themselves will suffer from these issues. There have even been numerous cases of accounts being suspended or login information being faulty, causing migration processes to stall. If gamers want the best experience, they should migrate early, before the deadline, to save time and effort.

Furthermore, completing the migration early will help players protect their accounts, whether they continue to play LoL or not. This is because when ending the 'relationship' with Riot, Garena is likely to no longer retain any data related to LoL. Therefore, if players wait until the deadline is imminent, there is a risk of permanently losing their accounts with no way to recover them.
Limiting the occurrence of errors, if any, can also be resolved early
As mentioned, migrating accounts too close to the deadline can cause unnecessary trouble and may result in game-related or account-related errors, affecting gamers' experiences. As in the November 18 migration, many gamers complained about network congestion, lag due to overloaded servers, or errors during the migration process…

Riot's support channel is undoubtedly running at full capacity but may still not be sufficient to address all player feedback. Therefore, to receive maximum support, gamers need to migrate early for the best experience. Completing the migration in December 2022 will be the best way for gamers to enjoy the upcoming new server early.
Enjoying a better gaming experience
After the migration process is officially carried out, players will have the opportunity to receive rewards from Riot. Additionally, Riot allows players to unlock all champions featured in LoL from the game's release until early 2022. This will be very exciting news for many gamers who only have a moderate number of champions and no time to 'grind' for Blue Essence.

Of course, Riot's rewards will come with a task for players who have recently migrated servers. Therefore, migrating accounts early will help Vietnamese LoL gamers have more time to complete these tasks early compared to gamers who migrate close to the deadline.
