Being forced to switch from attending school in person to studying online at home with a computer was initially disheartening. However, it turned out to be quite enjoyable.
That day was Vietnamese class with our homeroom teacher. I was already familiar with the procedures for attending online classes, so I joined early. I chatted with the teacher while waiting for other classmates to join. Latecomers would be noted by the teacher and had to sing a song for the class in the next session. During the lesson, we read a passage titled 'The Wonders of the Green Forest,' and listening to the teacher's rendition, it felt like my mind was being led into the lush greenery of a forest. Her voice, already pleasant in person, sounded even better through the computer. The class fell silent as she read, and even when called upon to read, nobody dared to speak up. I volunteered to read, but forgot to unmute my mic initially, which was quite embarrassing when reminded by my classmates. After I read, both the teacher and classmates praised my reading for its clarity and expression, which made me very happy.
Studying online through a computer may seem duller, but it actually made me more confident, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.

Have you gotten used to studying online yet? I certainly have, as I've been doing it for nearly a year now. Let me tell you about one memorable online class of mine.
That day was an English class, and when it was time for class, I tried to log in but couldn't remember my password. I thought I had forgotten it, but after some thought, I still couldn't recall it. When my mom came in, she knew the password and logged in for me. Arriving late to class, I found the whole class silent, and the teacher didn't say anything, which made me very nervous. I turned on my mic and said, 'I'm sorry, teacher and classmates, I was late because I forgot my password.' The class remained silent, and I even thought my computer's speakers were broken and I couldn't hear anything. However, a second later, the teacher and the whole class sang 'Happy Birthday' in unison. It turned out they all knew it was my birthday and had deliberately created a surprise. I was so happy and touched beyond words. That class was truly enjoyable and meaningful.
Though we can't hang out with friends and have fun every day, I believe as long as we study diligently, where we study doesn't matter. What matters is that we still find joy and maintain a learning spirit.

There's one online class that I really enjoy, and that's Mr. Phuong's computer science class.
While other subjects may feel inconvenient and less effective compared to in-person classes, computer science feels much more effective to me. At school, we don't have a dedicated computer lab, meaning we only learn about computers from textbooks without practical experience. But learning at home, our own devices become the tools for practice. Although some students use phones and can't practice, most of us can.
Mr. Phuong teaches us how to use our parents' computers and laptops safely and effectively. He also imparts a lot of useful tips and tricks for using computers. Being able to practice on the same computer I use daily makes it easy to understand and remember. Learning by doing makes me more engaged in learning and helps me become more proficient in using computers.
Studying online at home grants us ample time for exploration. Hence, I urge you to seize that time to delve into intriguing aspects of life.
