Challenging gamers, the martial arts game Sifu is preparing to release an update that significantly ramps up the difficulty level.
Launched on February 8th, the action-packed martial arts game Sifu has been warmly received by the gaming community worldwide, garnering plenty of well-deserved praise as one of the most impressive titles of early 2022. Many have experienced and expressed their fondness for Sifu, considering it a breath of fresh air in the martial arts gaming genre.

Despite being a martial arts game with a rather high difficulty level, comparable to FromSoftware's Souls series, many gamers feel that the martial arts skills in Sifu are still relatively easy to grasp, and the game's bosses aren't quite challenging enough to truly stump players. Listening to feedback from the gaming community, the developers behind Sifu, Sloclap, recently announced plans to increase the game's difficulty.
As revealed by Steve Saylor (via Twitter), Sifu will receive new features and increased difficulty in the upcoming update. These updates will include high-demand difficulty modes, allowing players to experience even tougher boss battles based on their comfort level. Other accessibility options will include improved subtitles with the ability to translate audio cues into text. Pausing the game during dialogue and muting footsteps when approaching obstacles may also be added, both options aiming to make the game more accessible for certain players.

While many players struggle with Sifu's fast-paced combat, others seem to have mastered this martial arts action game with ease. A particularly skilled gamer recently completed Sifu in just 40 minutes. Characters in Sifu age each time they die, but skilled players can still finish the game in under an hour even when starting at a young age.
Sifu, developed by Sloclap, is an action-packed martial arts game available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. In Sifu, players assume the role of a young disciple on a journey of vengeance for their family. The combat system features over 150 different martial arts techniques, and stringing together these attacks in various ways can lead to engaging combos.

In addition to its intricate combat system, Sifu stands out for its unique resurrection mechanic after defeat. If a player is defeated in battle, the main character can respawn, though he ages with each death. Aging enhances his attacks but reduces his vitality, mirroring the lifelong journey of vengeance and the effects of aging.
