After defeating BRO, Faker once again adds a new record to his career.
If we have to name one player holding the most records in the League of Legends (LoL) community, it's undoubtedly Faker. Not only is he one of the most experienced players still actively competing, but Faker also consistently breaks records from one milestone to another after each match. At this moment, it seems like any new record could be set by Faker, not just after each match but also within each individual game.

Recently, in their final match of the 4th week of the LCK Summer 2022 season, T1 faced off against Fredit BRION - the team at the bottom of the standings with a string of 8 losses and no wins in the LCK Summer 2022 season. And naturally, against an opponent not too difficult, if not the easiest in the current LCK, T1 didn't encounter too many difficulties in securing the victory. In fact, Faker and his teammates even took this opportunity to experiment with new champion choices, such as the Yasuo - Yone duo or the Lee Sin played as Support.
In this match, Faker once again establishes a new record for himself, specifically within the highest-tier League of Legends tournament in South Korea. To be specific, Faker has accumulated 2604 takedowns throughout the history of the LCK. As usual, this number far exceeds the second-place holder, a familiar name, Deft. The DRX ADC has only managed 2132 takedowns in the history of the LCK, trailing Faker by 472 takedowns.

With Deft also nearing the age to fulfill South Korea's mandatory military service (potentially in 2023), the likelihood of Deft surpassing Faker in this list is very low. Apart from Faker and Deft, this list includes many renowned names from the South Korean League of Legends scene such as Ruler, Teddy, PraY... Especially noteworthy is that only 3 players in the top 10 compete in the Mid Lane position, including Faker, Bdd, and Kuro.

And with the LCK Summer 2022 only nearing the end of the first round-robin stage, there are still plenty of opportunities for Faker to extend this achievement, as well as set new milestones for himself. Perhaps, for him and the majority of fans, the most anticipated aspect of each match is not only the victory for T1 but also whether Faker will break any more records.
