1. Recounting an Art Exhibition Tour - Sample 1:
Hello, Ms. and fellow classmates!
For today's discussion on recounting a personal experience, I'd like to share my visit to the Bat Trang pottery village.
It was a weekend day when my parents took me to an art exhibition in Bat Trang. I had heard about this place for a long time, but it was my first time setting foot here. Along the way, I saw many tour groups also exploring, with some people carrying large and small souvenir bags they had just purchased.
Upon arrival, I was immediately captivated by the unique architecture of this place. My dad explained that the 'Bat Trang Ceramic Museum' is modeled after the shape of clay on the pottery wheel, attracting many tourists to admire. The interior galleries of the museum showcase countless exquisite ceramic products such as vases, jars, bowls, plates, and more. Moreover, I had the chance to explore the ancient Bat Trang village with over 700 years of existence and the ancient kiln almost a century old.
There were many other interesting activities, but personally, I was fascinated by observing the pottery molding process. Watching formless clay gradually take shape under the skilled hands of artists, I felt a peculiar joy. Seeing this, my dad promptly bought a ticket for me to experience making my own ceramic piece. With everyone's help, I handcrafted a small cup, then adorned it with colorful patterns. While waiting for the product to be fired, my parents and I took a break at a nearby café. After a while, the final cup arrived in my hands. Looking at the petite item with amateurish drawings, I felt immensely joyful.
Back home, I proudly showed off the cup to my grandparents. I placed it right on the corner of my study desk, cherishing it like a treasure. Even until now, that cup remains unused. I intend to keep it as a gift for my sister on her birthday when she returns from studying abroad.
The trip to Bat Trang pottery village was truly a priceless experience for me.
That concludes my presentation. Many thanks to you, ma'am, and everyone for paying attention!
2. Recounting an Art Exhibition Tour - Sample 2:
Welcome, ma'am, and everyone to today's discussion!
Surely, each of us has at least once had the opportunity to explore or participate in an art exhibition, haven't we? So, let me share about my recent weekend visit to the Vietnam Museum of Nature.
It was a real-life geography class field trip with my entire class, exploring Earth's various species. Initially, we gathered at the school to organize the class. Once everyone arrived, we boarded the bus and headed to the museum. In addition to wearing our uniforms, each person wore an additional wristband to prevent getting lost.
My first impression upon arrival was a massive dinosaur statue in the museum courtyard. The sculpture was intricately crafted, looking incredibly lifelike. Stepping inside, both I and my classmates were overwhelmed by the surrounding space. To the left of the entrance was a room named the 'Tree of Evolution.' A red model of the tree, along with prototypes of countless species, rotated in the middle of the room. On the wooden wall, the names and images of each species were intricately carved along the branches: mammals, birds, insects, fungi, and more.
Moving on to the main exhibition room, I got to observe in detail the evolution of various animal species. There, our guide provided us with valuable information, such as the formation and division of geological eras, the origins of species, the evolutionary steps of Earth's creatures, and the extinction of dinosaurs. Not only that, we also saw realistic replicas of bears, tigers, wild boars, and many other specimens. It felt like we were all lost in a fascinating and wild world.
A highlight was the 30-minute film screening in the museum's theater. Right after witnessing numerous creatures outside, I got to explore more about their typical behaviors through the screen. It was truly a meaningful and enjoyable experience.
Although the journey has concluded, its lingering impact remains vivid for me. I'm delighted to have had the opportunity to visit such an interesting place.
That wraps up my presentation. I look forward to receiving feedback from you, ma'am, and everyone!
