The broadcast for this week was themed: an introduction to the work 'The Adventure of Cricket' by the author Tô Hoài. According to the information provided by the editor, the book set records for Vietnamese literature, being translated into many languages for over 40 countries. It also ranked among the top 10 best children's books. These numbers sparked my curiosity. So, the next day, I asked my dad to take me to the bookstore to buy the novel. When I held the book in my hands, I immediately immersed myself in the fascinating world of various animals. The story, with its 10 chapters, narrates the adventurous journey of Cricket, exploring and wandering everywhere. Through this, I witnessed the transformation of the character, from an arrogant and bossy cricket to a compassionate, righteous, and empathetic cricket. I vividly remember the excitement and enthusiasm every time I turned the pages. I felt restless, curious about what the next part of the story would be like. I was so engrossed in reading each page, patiently moving from one to another, unable to put it down. Finally, I finished reading the book in just over a day. This was something I had never done before.
From the work 'The Adventure of Cricket,' I have learned many things from Cricket. It includes the spirit of courage, compassion, righteousness, and indignation towards evil. It's also about correcting mistakes, standing up after personal setbacks. Alongside this, the book ignited a passion for reading in me. From a boy who rarely touched books throughout the year, I have now become someone diligent in reading books and newspapers.
Every time I look up at 'The Adventure of Cricket' neatly placed on the bookshelf, I smile brightly. The book is like a guiding friend, showing me the way in the vast garden of knowledge.

Every time I step outside to experience real activities with family, I always feel excited and enthusiastic. I crave to explore new and unfamiliar lands. Luckily, that year, I fulfilled my own desire.
At the age of 12, my family moved to live in a peaceful countryside. Like any other child, as soon as I set foot in the new place, I immediately ran everywhere in the house to explore the new surroundings. The new house was so spacious! I explored from inside to outside, from the front porch to the backyard. When I reached the back of the house, I suddenly discovered a lush garden next to it. My eyes glued to the fresh, green, and dreamy scenery. With no separating walls, I decided to visit the garden. Now, my innate curiosity and exploration instinct awakened. I hoped to discover and broaden my horizons with countless new things.
After a few steps, I finally reached the place. In front of me was a spacious, cool garden with various types of trees. In the middle was a small flower garden. People planted various types of flowers, from bright red roses, elegant chrysanthemums, to tender lotus flowers. The gentle fragrance of the blooming flowers permeated the entire space, making everyone feel light and joyful. Surrounding the flower beds were rows of fruit trees, lush and green. Each tree was planted in a separate area, separated by small paths paved with white stones. Most prominent among them was a wild banana tree in full bloom. Next was a grapefruit tree in season, with clusters of delicate white flowers and golden stamens emitting a sweet, fleeting fragrance. Lost in admiration in the garden, suddenly, I heard someone behind me say, 'Whose child are you, wandering in my garden?' Startled, I turned around and saw an old man with a cane slowly approaching. Politely, I folded my hands and introduced myself as the neighbor's child who had just moved in. I smiled brightly, not forgetting to praise his beautiful garden. Hearing that, the old man was very pleased. He took me on a tour of the entire garden, introducing me to each type of plant. He even shared how to care for and nurture the plants.
Seeing that it was getting late, I quickly asked for permission to leave. The old man kindly picked a large bag of oranges for me to take home. He also invited me to come and play whenever I had time. From then on, after studying, finishing household chores, I would go to play with him. The garden became a separate world for the two of us. The old man taught me a lot, from pruning to watering the plants correctly. I also gained a deeper understanding of the significant role of planting trees.
From here, I feel truly happy and fortunate to discover the garden. Although this place is not a famous tourist destination or a picturesque land, it is deeply engraved in my heart. I dream that someday I will have a small garden similar to his.

For me, every journey, every expedition is like a real-life lesson. I am always eager, craving to explore many new lands. In the last summer vacation, I had an exciting experience with my family when we went to a deserted beach.
Right after finishing the school year, my parents decided to organize a family road trip to the beach. That morning, the whole family set off very early. Mom and dad sat in the front while my sister and I sat in the back seat. Along the way, the family chatted and discussed everything around.
After about 3 hours, my family finally arrived. Seeing the vast and expansive ocean, my siblings joyfully exclaimed, 'The sea! We've reached the sea, Mom and Dad!' My eyes followed my sister's direction. A fresh, cool space appeared before me. Waves rolled gently onto the white and golden sandy beach. Above, the sky was clear, without a single cloud. It all created a picturesque landscape.
This sea area has not been exploited for tourism, so there are very few people around. Therefore, our family decided to set up camp and enjoy activities by the beach. While waiting for our parents to set up the tent, my sister and I built sandcastles and collected seashells on the sandy beach. We were so engrossed in playing until we noticed Mom starting to grill food. We quickly ran to Mom, assisting her in preparing ingredients. By the barbecue, Dad was diligently tending to the fire. After skewering the food, I quickly brought it to Dad. Later, the grilled skewers emitted a delicious fragrance.
After eating, our family took a stroll along the beach. Waiting for the cool evening, Dad took us down for a swim in the sea. Under the clear, cool water, we comfortably splashed around and swam. As the sun set in the west, it was also time for the family to return. Despite being deeply attached to this place, my family still had to pack up. Before leaving, we managed to capture a memorable photo under the twilight.
Thanks to that outdoor trip, my family became even more bonded and loving. Moreover, I learned many useful things that books didn't mention. Certainly, when I return to school, I will share with you the memorable journey of my family.
