Have you ever accidentally hit send on an email before finishing or sent the wrong content to someone? This nifty trick will help you fix that.

On your mobile device:
Step 1: Download the official Gmail app for Android or iOS. This feature is only activated on the official Google app.
Step 2: Click on the pencil icon in the bottom right to compose your email as usual, then send it.

Step 3: Immediately after sending, a notification will appear confirming the sent email. If you want to recall it, simply click the 'undo' button in the bottom right corner.

For desktop:
This feature is automatically enabled for all Gmail accounts. After sending, look in the bottom right corner just like on your phone, a notification will pop up, and you just need to click the 'undo' button.

Note: You have approximately 10 seconds to recall the just-sent message; after 10 seconds, retrieval is not possible. For added assurance, activate the confirmation feature before sending to avoid sending the wrong email.
