Moreover, this processor is equipped with HyperEngine technology for better performance management and allows seamless network switching between Wifi and 4G LTE, ensuring users have the best gaming experiences.

Additionally, Redmi 9A features a large 5,000 mAh battery, providing extended usage for users. So, with a battery of this capacity, how long can Redmi 9A last in terms of usage? Join me in the Redmi 9A battery review to find the answer!
Redmi 9A's sizable 5,000 mAh battery delivers impressive usage lasting up to nearly 9 hours.
In this section, I'll conduct a battery test (following the standards of The Gioi Di Dong) to assess how long Redmi 9A's battery can perform under various tasks. This test will be conducted under specific conditions as follows:
- Experience 4 rotating tasks: Playing Arena of Valor (configured as shown below), watching YouTube, browsing Facebook, and using the browser (Chrome).
- Each task runs for 1 hour.
- Screen brightness set to 100%.
- Wired headphones plugged in with volume set to 100%.
- Wi-Fi enabled, social media notifications on.
- No power-saving mode, adaptive brightness, GPS, and Bluetooth.
- Drained from 100% to 0%.
Below are the results of the Redmi 9A battery test that I obtained:

Based on the test results, we observe that Redmi 9A can last up to 8 hours and 52 minutes with diverse tasks. Personally, I consider this a commendable result for a device equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery, showcasing the efficient optimization by Redmi 9A to provide users with such usage time. When handling basic tasks, the device only consumes 10-12% of the battery after 1 hour of usage. Even with the game Arena of Valor Mobile, the battery usage is slightly higher.

These figures demonstrate the excellent optimization by Xiaomi on Redmi 9A, especially on the Android 10 version (MIUI 12.0.20). For comparison, below are the battery usage test results of Redmi 9A from 2 years ago.

As you can see in both result tables, the usage time of Redmi 9A before and after 2 years doesn't differ significantly. In my opinion, this is due to the current time where applications have become more graphics-intensive, leading to increased consumption. In reality, under normal usage conditions, I believe the battery life on Redmi 9A will be even higher than the figures shown here, as The Gioi Di Dong's test conditions are quite demanding with the brightness set to 100%.

So, what about the charging speed of Redmi 9A? The answer is provided in the image below:

I conducted a battery charging test on Redmi 9A from a completely drained state to full charge, concluding the test. As you can see, the charging speed of Redmi 9A is relatively slow, taking 3 hours and 2 minutes to charge from 0 to 100% for the 5,000 mAh battery. However, for a device priced under 3 million VND, this figure is still acceptable. Additionally, Redmi 9A provides excellent battery life, allowing you to charge the phone during breaks to avoid interruptions in your work without having to wait!
Experience various tasks on Redmi 9A with nearly 8 hours of battery life
Next, we'll address a topic that many people are interested in: how long does Redmi 9A last with various tasks? To find the answer, I conducted a new test following the standards of The Gioi Di Dong, using 9 apps that users commonly use. This test will be carried out under specific conditions as follows:
- Continuous use of 9 apps in the order mentioned in the test, each for 1 hour.
- Screen brightness at 100%.
- Wired earphones plugged in with volume set to 100%.
- Wi-Fi enabled, receiving notifications from social networks.
- Power-saving mode, adaptive screen, GPS, and Bluetooth turned off.
- Gaming mode activated for optimal performance.

Below are the results obtained after conducting the test:

In the conducted test, activities on each app resulted as follows:
- Watching YouTube videos: 9% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Playing Liên Quân Mobile: 11% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Browsing Facebook for movie reviews: 11% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Playing Free Fire game: 16% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Video calling on Messenger: 16% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Playing Zombie Tsunami game: 12% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Watching TikTok videos: 12% battery drop after 1 hour.
- Playing Zing Speed game: 13% battery drop after 50 minutes.

The results were surprising as Redmi 9A can handle various applications for 1 hour with a battery consumption ranging from 9% to 16% for each app. However, these results are for reference only, as everyone has different settings when using different applications. For instance, playing Free Fire continuously with rapid movements and scenery changes or making video calls on Messenger, which requires the camera to be active constantly, may consume more battery.

Certainly, without the harsh conditions of the conducted test, Redmi 9A is expected to provide significantly longer battery life. Therefore, it remains a device worth considering for individuals seeking extended usage for various purposes such as Grab rides, studying, or light entertainment.
How much is the Redmi 9A? Is it worth buying?
Through the battery tests conducted on Redmi 9A after 2 years, it is evident that this device can still offer a full day's usage for basic tasks. Currently priced at 2.490 million VND at Mytour (may vary based on timing and promotions), I believe this is a reasonable figure if you need a device with sufficient configuration and long battery life.
