Redmi K70 Pro poised to wield the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip

Qualcomm plans to unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip at the Snapdragon Technology Summit 2023 in October. Rumors suggest that the first phones using this SoC will debut as early as November this year.

A recent leak shared by Digital Chat Station has revealed that Xiaomi is set to soon introduce a Redmi phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

Redmi K70 Pro set to utilize the powerhouse Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip

Recall that Xiaomi launched the Redmi K60 series in December 2022. The lineup included the Redmi K60e, Redmi K60, and Redmi K60 Pro, each equipped with the Dimensity 8200, Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips, respectively.

There's a possibility that the Redmi K70 series will encompass multiple smartphones. According to DCS, this product line will include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone. Therefore, there's a likelihood that the Redmi K70 Pro, the successor to the K60 Pro, will feature this SoC.

Currently, the K60 Pro remains exclusive to the Chinese market. Therefore, it's still unclear whether the K70 Pro will be released in markets outside of China. Hopefully, in the near future, we'll see more information about this smartphone appearing on various websites.
