In the latest teaser, it's revealed that Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be the first product in the Redmi Note series to boast a whopping 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Previously, the highest-end options in the Redmi Note series topped out at 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Additionally, the device comes equipped with an upgraded vapor chamber cooling system with an enlarged area of up to 3,725 square millimeters.
For those unfamiliar, the vapor chamber cooling system enhances cooling efficiency in larger heat-emitting areas such as the CPU or GPU, particularly during gaming. A small amount of liquid is pumped into the vapor chamber system, which vaporizes upon contact with heat. The resulting hot air moves to cooler areas to condense rapidly, repeating the process.
The vapor chamber cooling system operates without the need for any moving parts, ensuring both quiet operation and high efficiency. As a result, many manufacturers in the market trust and integrate it into their products.
On the other hand, the cooling system of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has been expanded to an area of 3,725 square millimeters, along with heat-conducting grooves, significantly enhancing cooling effectiveness. According to the company, the cooling system of the product has seen a 35% improvement compared to its predecessor. Additionally, the company has stated that the cooling system on the product will meet professional tournament standards.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo stands out with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor and Adreno 725 graphics, optimized for gaming. Latest teaser reveals maximum 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage, highest ever in Redmi Note series.
Additionally, other hardware components on Redmi Note 12 Turbo are equally impressive, including a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 20:9 aspect ratio. The device features a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, running on MIUI 14 interface based on Android 13 OS, with 5G support and internal storage starting from 256GB.
Finally, Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP main sensor. Camera features will include LED flash, panorama mode, and HDR video recording.
