To reduce the file size of PowerPoint 2019, follow these instructions:
Step 1: Open the PowerPoint file you want to reduce in size -> click on the File menu in the bottom-left corner of the software interface.
Step 2: In the new window, select the Save As tab -> then click on the Browse icon as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Afterward, choose the location to save the compressed PowerPoint file and give a name to this new file.
Look down below -> click on the dropdown list in the Tools section -> then choose Compress Pictures (image compression).
Step 4: The Compress Pictures interface appears -> uncheck the box next to Apply only to this picture to reduce the size of all images in the PowerPoint presentation.
Next, check the box for Delete cropped areas of pictures and choose E-mail (96 ppi): minimize document size for sharing -> finally, click OK.
Finally, click on Save to save the file.
Right after, you'll have a new PowerPoint file with a smaller size, and all the images in that file will be compressed.
