The VinFast VF 6 is a recently launched B-segment SUV in the Vietnamese market, competing with rivals such as the Honda HR-V, Toyota Yaris Cross, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos. The VF 6 will have a starting price of 675 million for the Base model and 765 million for the Plus model, excluding the 90 million dong battery purchase cost. With outstanding modern technology features, significant cost savings in usage, and powerful performance, the VF 6 stands out as a noteworthy smart electric vehicle.
The first point to mention is that the VF 6 is an electric vehicle, unlike models using internal combustion engines. The VF 6 offers users a smarter and fresher experience of an electric vehicle produced in Vietnam. The VF 6 has a battery rental cost of 1.8 million dong per month for distances under 3000km or 3 million dong per month for unlimited mileage.
The next highlight of the VF 6 compared to its rivals in the B-segment SUV category is its size, particularly its 2730mm long wheelbase, whereas the Honda HR-V is only 2610mm and the Toyota Yaris Cross is 2640mm. This indicates that the VF 6 will offer a more spacious and airy interior. As for the dimensions, the VinFast VF 6 measures 4,238 x 1,820 x 1,594 (mm) in length, width, and height, respectively.
The VF 6 also utilizes 19-inch wheels with 235/45 R19 tires (Plus version), creating a sporty appearance and enhancing the driving sensation. The design of the VF 6 still retains the distinctive features of a VinFast electric vehicle with the front position lights resembling wings. The front headlights are equipped with automatic on/off and smart beam angle adjustment features. The rearview mirror integrates heating & automatic adjustment when reversing. The VF 6 is also equipped with a 360-degree surround view camera system, tinted windows, and multi-link rear suspension.- Forward collision warning

Both versions of the VF 6 are equipped with a 59.6 kWh LFP battery with respective operating ranges of 399 km for the Base model and 381 km for the Plus model (according to WLTP standards) after a full charge. The vehicle utilizes electric motors with maximum power outputs of 100 kW and 150 kW, corresponding to maximum torque of 135 Nm and 310 Nm. Estimated cost per km of travel for the VF 6 is approximately 500 dong, significantly lower, about 3-5 times, than gasoline models in the B and C segments.
VinFast VF 6 will have 5 color options (Brahminy White, Neptune Grey, Crimson Red, Vinfast Blue, Deep Ocean) and 2 interior color options (Granite Black and Macca Brown).
