(Thethaovanhoa.vn) - After an intense two-week competition, the ROG PHONE HIU Young League 2022 tournament concluded triumphantly with victories for the Phan Đăng Lưu High School (Junior) and HUTECH University (Campus) teams.
Commencing on November 10, 2022, the ROG PHONE HIU Young League tournament officially drew to a close on November 27, following two thrilling final matches between Junior (Students) and Campus (University) categories. It can be noted that after a relatively quiet period, the esports scene nationwide, particularly among students, has begun to regain its vigor.

Not limited to officially organized large-scale events by publishers, community tournaments for students, overseen by school clubs, are continuously occurring, drawing a large number of participants. Naturally, the ROG PHONE HIU Young League has been one of the tournaments closely monitored in recent times.
Even before registrations opened, the tournament swiftly captured the interest of the gaming community. Upon official commencement, the ROG PHONE HIU Young League witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 200 competitors, ranging from high school students to university attendees. Despite the majority of matches being online, the tournament atmosphere remained grand.

Over the span of more than two weeks of competition, the student gaming community, comprising high school and university students, had an incredibly fantastic and vibrant Esports experience. During this period, there were numerous intense matches between teams from various educational institutions, but ultimately, the honors were claimed by the Phan Đăng Lưu High School (Junior) and HUTECH University (Campus) teams. While the Junior category finals were tense, they were quickly resolved after the first two rounds. Meanwhile, the Campus category witnessed the dominant performance of HUTECH University against their supposedly weaker opponents.
According to the statistics, the tournament has attracted over 300 competitors, ranging from high school students to university undergraduates who have registered to participate. Additionally, there were more than 400 attendees and over 10,000 online viewers. This indicates the strong appeal of electronic sports activities within the Student - Youth community.

Of course, we must mention the deep interest and close monitoring from Hong Bang International University (HIU), as well as the unconditional support from the sponsor ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), with the motto 'For those who dare' – Aimed at honoring the young adventurers who dare to explore and confront their own fears. Lastly, there was meticulousness in the promotion and organization provided by ESCA Vietnam and Gaming Geeks.
The ROG PHONE HIU Young League 2022 has officially come to a close, but this is surely just the beginning for community tournaments within the student population in Vietnam. Before saying goodbye, we would like to extend our gratitude to the Sponsors and co-organizers who have been with us throughout this tournament.
With such achievements, we hope that the ROG PHONE HIU Young League tournament will have many more seasons in the future, providing even more opportunities for students in Vietnam who are passionate about Esports.
