Ingredients:
2 ripe large bananas 1 ripe pear, seeded and diced 2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen ¼ cup raw cashews 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt 2 large kale leaves, stem removed ¼ cup fresh mint leaves (about 10 large leaves)
Watermelon Mint Smoothie Recipe Instructions
1. First, cube 2 cups of seedless watermelon and freeze them.
2. Place frozen banana, pear, and watermelon into a blender. Then add cashews, chia seeds, salt, and kale leaves.
3. Secure the blender lid tightly and blend until achieving a smooth and creamy consistency like sorbet. Start at low speed and blend smoothly at medium speed. You may need to stop and push the ingredients from the sides of the blender to push the food down and around towards the blade. This process will take about a minute or more, depending on the type of blender you are using.
4. Now, add mint leaves and mix until thoroughly combined.
5. Pour the lovely pink smoothie mixture into 2-3 glasses or bowls and top it off with watermelon and mint leaves!
