Step 2: Connect the Phone to the Computer
Connect your Samsung, which has lost its IMEI, to the computer. Launch the NV-items_reader_writer.exe file within the NV Items Reader Writer Tool with Administrator privileges.

Here, choose BOTH 2 in the middle at the top, click Connect, press Read on the top bar, continue selecting Read below in the 'NV-items' box, and then Save the file as .txt - this is your backup file. Go back once more to the *#7284# command and select Qualcomm USB Settings, then check MTP + ADB. Click Write in the NV-items box and choose the Backup file you saved earlier to restore your Samsung's IMEI.
