Spotify is the leading online music streaming service officially launched on 07/10/2008 by Spotify AB in Stockholm, Sweden. The service is available in most European and American countries, Australia, New Zealand, and parts of Asia. On 13/03/2018, Spotify was officially launched in Vietnam.
Spotify is available on most modern devices including smartphones, tablets running iOS, Windows Phone, Android, and computers running Windows, macOS, and Linux. With millions of songs on Spotify, you can freely choose music that suits your taste.
To use the Spotify service for streaming music online, you need to have a Spotify account. Below is a detailed guide on how to create a Spotify account.
Currently, Spotify offers users two methods to register for a Spotify account: directly on the Spotify website and within the Spotify software.
Signing Up for a Spotify Account through the Spotify Website
Step 1: Visit the Spotify homepage directly https://www.spotify.com/vn-en/ and select Sign Up at the top of the web interface.
Step 2: The Sign Up interface appears where you can register for an account in two ways:
- Register with Facebook.
- Register with your email address.

- Click on
Register with Facebook.
- Click Continue as [your Facebook name].

- On the registration interface, enter your email, confirm email, password, display name, date of birth, gender, and verify that you are not a robot. Then click Sign up as shown below:
- Access your registered email and open the Confirm your account email from Spotify, then click Confirm account to verify your newly registered account.
A notification from Spotify will appear confirming that you have completed the registration process.

Step 1: Visit the link below to download Spotify for your computer: https://www.spotify.com/vn-vi/download/windows/
Spotify has a file size of around 700KB, so it downloads very quickly and consumes very little computer storage.
Step 2: After downloading, click on the installation file and select Run to install Spotify on your computer.
Step 3: Once installation is complete, Spotify will display the interface below. Click Sign up free to proceed to the Spotify account registration interface.
Step 4: Here, you have two options to register for a Spotify account:
- Join with Facebook (register via Facebook).
- Enter information and sign up using Gmail.
Similar to signing up for an account on Spotify's website above, after successfully registering, the Spotify interface will be displayed. You can select and listen to millions of songs on Spotify.
For easier navigation, you can switch to the Vietnamese language by clicking on the V icon next to your account name and selecting Settings
Then select Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt) in the Choose Language section.
