Guide to online registration for certified birth certificate issuance
To make it more convenient for citizens to submit documents, the Hanoi Public Service Portal has divided different administrative levels such as Ward/Commune/Town, District/Municipality/Town, and Department/Sector for people to choose from:

Regardless of where you submit the documents, the registration process is similar. Step 1: After accessing the link, the interface will appear as shown below:
Step 2: First, near 'Issuance of certified birth certificates (ward/commune level)', click on the box under 'District/Municipality' to choose the district/municipality. Then, the 'Receiving agency' section will appear, click on it to select the receiving agency where you want to submit your documents.
Step 3: After that, fill in the number of copies you want (1 copy corresponds to 8,000 VND)
Step 4: Continue to fill in the complete and accurate information according to the requirements of the Hanoi Public Service Portal from the section:
- 'Applicant's information'
- 'Information of the person to be extracted'
- to 'Parental Information'
- Information marked with (*) is mandatory and must not be left blank
- If you don't have an email, you should register an email for feedback and registration result purposes.
Step 5: Go to the 'Attached Documents' section, carefully read, and upload the attached files according to the type of documents as shown below.
Step 6: After filling out, you should double-check to ensure the information is accurate. If correct, check the box 'I take legal responsibility for the statement above.' Then choose 'Continue' to complete the registration. If you want to print, select the 'Print Form' option.
With just a computer/tablet connected to the internet, you can stay at home and complete the online registration process for certified birth certificate issuance in about 15 minutes. Afterward, you only need to wait for the confirmation result that Hanoi Public Service will send to the email address you registered above.
