Guide to registering for new issuance or changing of citizen ID cards directly at home via the Zalo app
Register for rapid citizen ID card change on Zalo
Step 1: Download and install the Zalo app on your phone using the link below:

Note: If you already have this app on your phone, you can start from step 4 in the article.
Step 2: Proceed with registration and log in to your account.
Step 3: Proceed to grant permissions
Press Allow to grant permission for Zalo to access certain functions on your phone.
Step 4: On the main interface of Zalo, navigate to the search bar --> Enter the content: Police of your province or city where you live --> Select the Zalo account with verified checkmark V.
Step 5: In the interface of the selected Police of province or city, click on the Follow function.
Step 6: In the next window, select the Administrative procedures section --> Navigate to the ID card field
Step 7: Next, select the specific ID card procedure to be performed: New issue, replacement, reissue. Then, the application will display the necessary information, procedures for you to register for ID card replacement, including: Preparing documents, requirements to be met, submission address...
You can download the necessary forms in advance and fill them out. When you go to the administrative agencies, just submit them.
