Guide to Register Vietcombank Smart OTP
Case 1: For first-time new registration customers
Currently, to register for the new Vietcombank SmartOTP application, please bring your ID card to any Vietcombank transaction counter nationwide for registration guidance.
After registering to use the service, you need to install and activate the SmartOTP application on your phone.
Note: Prior to going to the bank to register for using the Vietcombank SmartOTP application, you need to know the exact working hours of Vietcombank. Knowing the bank's working hours will help you proactively go to transactions at the bank without having to waste time traveling multiple times.
Case 2: For customers who have previously registered Vietcombank Smart OTP and need to reuse it on the same activated device
Usage Conditions: You need to register for Vietcombank's internet banking service beforehand.
Implementation Steps
Step 1: Access Vietcombank's electronic banking system HERE.
Step 2: In the 'additional utilities' section on the menu bar, find the 'SmartOTP' category, select 'register SmartOTP'.
Step 3: Check information, enter verification code, press 'confirm'.
Step 4: Receive OTP code in the text message you registered with Vietcombank.
Step 5: Enter OTP confirmation code, press 'confirm' button to complete the registration process.

Note: The application's validity period is 360 days from the activation date or 180 days from the date of the last transaction.
After the validity period, you can reactivate Vietcombank SmartOTP at Vietcombank's transaction counters or register at home through the VCB-iB@nking application.
