A recent incident stirring the online shooting game community is Gun Star Admin's public action to suspend a player account for violating the game's community standards, specifically for expressing intentions to hack the game due to losing.
In reality, the Admin's firm action to suspend this account is in line with community principles, addressing violations of the group's rules regarding posting controversial information, inciting conflicts, and especially promoting game hacking. This corrective action by the publisher is widely supported by other gamers to help the Gunners community become cleaner and more civilized.
Immediately after this account's post, many other gamers expressed their discontent, some even directly sending screenshots to the publisher.
Upon receiving negative reports from users, the publisher swiftly took action by officially disabling the commenting and posting features of this user's account in the Gun Star community group for 2 months, effectively isolating this gamer during the holiday season and preventing any further posts advocating game hacking or inciting conflicts. Whether this hacker agrees with the publisher's decision remains unknown, but what's certain is that this account is no longer active within the Gun Star community group.
In reality, handling gamers who violate community standards is not uncommon in the Vietnamese gaming community. Many other online game products are also implementing similar measures to control gamers' misconduct, avoiding potential undesirable incidents.
