According to recent reports on MacRumors, hackers can remotely lock Macs and iPhones of users and demand ransom through the Find My iPhone feature. And some Mac users have fallen victim to this attack.

Some Mac users reported via their Twitter accounts that their Macs have been locked and all they see is a lock screen with a demand to pay a ransom in Bitcoin to receive the device unlock code.
