Removing Page Numbers in Word, Omitting Page Numbering
Method 1:
On the Ribbon menu, select Insert >Page number >Remove Page Numbers
Immediately, all page numbers in the document will be removed.
Method 2:
Step 1: Double-click on the page number in the document
Step 2: Now the header and footer appear as shown below. Simply select and highlight the page number in the document and press the Delete button on the keyboard.
Thus, with just a few simple steps above, deleting page numbers in Word has become quite easy for you if you have mistakenly added page numbers to your document. Moreover, for documents using the Old, Even, Odd Page number insertion mode, after deleting on page 1, you need to continue deleting on page 2 using the second method above.
