Step 1: Right-click anywhere on the Desktop and select Personalize.

Step 2: In the window that appears, click on Change desktop icons.

Step 3: In the Desktop icon settings window, uncheck the box next to Recycle Bin as shown below. Then click OK to save the settings. Return to the Desktop screen to verify that the Recycle Bin icon is no longer visible. To display it again, simply follow the same steps and check the box next to Recycle Bin.
