The fate of Renekton in the current meta is nothing short of dire.
Karma
An unexpected contender in the new season is Karma, as she returns to the Summoner's Rift and becomes a truly hot pick. With the meta favoring Supports capable of buffing and healing, essentially serving as a 100% ADC-centric support, a strong contender in these aspects like Karma is a logical choice.

In LCK Spring 2022, Karma currently boasts an 81.1% presence in matches. Specifically, she has been banned 21 times (12 on Blue side and 9 on Red side). Karma has also been picked 9 times (6 on Blue side and 3 on Red side). Her win rate stands at 61.1% (6 wins - 3 losses). However, unlike previous occurrences, Karma is currently only used for the Support position, with no role variations like mid or top lane.

Caitlyn
Caitlyn, the Sharpshooter, has been a powerhouse since the late stages of the 2021 season, notably featuring prominently in tournaments like VCS Winter 2021 and Demacia Cup 2021. With her wide range, trap-laying abilities, and burst damage to finish crucial targets in engagements, Caitlyn has plenty of reasons to be a hot AD pick at the moment.

Another advantage Caitlyn holds over marksmen like Aphelios or Jinx is her effectiveness in combat with just a couple of items. Her skill set is also not reliant on chance like Jinx's. Therefore, it's no surprise that Caitlyn boasts an 89.2% pick rate. Specifically, Caitlyn has been banned 28 times (20 on Blue side and 8 on Red side). She has had the opportunity to play only 5 times with a win rate of 40%.

Yuumi
Another Support name with a penchant for buffing and healing on the list is Yuumi. Despite being perceived as the most 'relaxed' champion in League of Legends history, Yuumi is highly favored today, particularly in the LCK, where she boasts a staggering 91.9% pick rate. Interestingly, there's almost no difference in Yuumi's ban rate between the Blue and Red sides (11 Blue bans - 13 Red bans). Additionally, Yuumi has appeared 10 times in matches (5 on Blue side - 5 on Red side).

With unparalleled healing abilities, it's no wonder Yuumi is favored in maximum 'protect the ADC' strategies. Additionally, Yuumi excels at initiating combat with her Final Chapter and harassing opponents with her Prowling Projectile. It's safe to say that if Yuumi isn't banned, she'll be picked immediately in the current meta.

Twisted Fate
With the ongoing adjustments to Teleport, champions with versatile abilities like Twisted Fate have become hot picks across the map. In 2-lane compositions, having Twisted Fate can accelerate lane pressure and easily engage in skirmishes regardless of Teleport availability.

Moreover, Twisted Fate can contribute to picking off isolated targets, serving as a fairly effective crowd control source in engagements (though sometimes relying on chance). Currently in LCK Spring 2022, this champion is highly favored by Faker alongside Ryze, with a presence rate of 97.3% in matches. Twisted Fate has been banned 32 times (16 on Blue side/16 on Red side) but has only been picked 4 times (2 on Blue side/2 on Red side).

Renekton
Unlike the four aforementioned names, Renekton doesn't excel at buffing or healing teammates, nor does he possess abilities for immediate shutdowns like Caitlyn. However, Renekton's strength lies in his reset stun and overall potency, whether in lane or skirmishes. Additionally, Renekton can thrive independently, a feat now challenging due to the adjustments to Teleport buffs.

Despite his strength, Renekton remains the 'banned ghost' of LCK at present. Despite a 100% presence rate in LCK Spring 2022 matches, not a single game has seen the Crocodile God in action. Renekton has been banned 100%. Notably, he has been banned 32 times on the Red side and 5 times on the Blue side. It seems Renekton may have to wait a while longer before making an appearance in the highest-level League of Legends tournament in Korea.
