Many destinations in Vietnam have triumphed in various tourism categories, acknowledged by renowned media agencies for their pristine and serene beauty.
Renowned World-Famous Landmarks in Vietnam, Honored Multiple Times

Luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton has unveiled a new campaign set entirely in Vietnam, featuring the iconic locations of Hạ Long (Quảng Ninh), Sa Pa (Lào Cai), Ninh Bình, and Hội An (Quảng Nam). These are among the most celebrated destinations in Vietnam, recognized multiple times by prestigious media channels. According to information from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism), this is a significant opportunity to boost the development of Vietnam's tourism industry. Hạ Long Bay (Quảng Ninh) is the most renowned destination on the world tourism map. Since 2011, it has been chosen as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature by New 7 Wonders. On the Louis Vuitton website, photos taken at Hạ Long Bay receive much acclaim. 'I recognize this place; it must be Hạ Long Bay. I've seen it online and always wanted to set foot here,' shared Robert Green. Photo: Trần Quý.

Hạ Long Bay has received numerous accolades in major awards presented by prestigious foreign travel newspapers and magazines. CNN from the United States acknowledges it as a must-visit destination in Vietnam. In the list of the world's 25 most beautiful natural wonders voted by this site, Hạ Long Bay stands alongside the Maldives, Lake District (USA), Positano fishing village (Italy)... and is the only destination in Southeast Asia to be honored. The surreal beauty of Hạ Long Bay comes from a creation process that spans over 500 years. Visitors to Hạ Long Bay today not only enjoy the gifted natural scenery but also participate in various exciting activities. Kayaking, helicopter views of the bay, and swaying on luxurious yachts are experiences favored by foreign visitors. Photo: Carolyn Carter.

Vietnam also boasts an on-land version of Hạ Long Bay named Ninh Binh. For fans of famous monster movies in Hollywood, Ninh Binh is a familiar destination as it was chosen as the main setting for Kong: Skull Island. Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the film director, expressed admiration for the rich skies of this land. 'Few people know about this hidden beauty, and it's wonderful that I could personally witness it for my film crew,' the American director shared. Photo: We Got This Covered.

Ninh Binh has made frequent appearances in foreign newspapers and magazines. Lonely Planet once listed this ancient land in the top 6 most perfect honeymoon destinations. The travel magazine emphasizes the breathtaking scenery and affordable living costs, around 10 USD per day. In late 2018, Ninh Binh continued to be honored as one of the 15 hidden gems known to few, as voted by Telegraph. 'I can't find words to describe the scenery here. The simplicity and wildness truly touch the heart,' Voha Rt, a Russian, shared in Louis Vuitton's post. Photo: Pegas, Jasnavr, Oryan_agm, Littlegreybox.

Sa Pa (Lào Cai) is the top choice for foreign visitors when deciding to visit Vietnam. The cool climate, landscapes retaining much wilderness, and reasonable expenses have made Sa Pa increasingly famous. The place has developed various attractive forms of tourism such as taking the train to admire the Muong Hoa Valley, conquering Fansipan, or trekking. The growing number of high-end hotels also helps Sa Pa score points with guests seeking quality accommodation with family and friends. Photo: Phi Quynh Anh, Linktho_, Halleytran_.

Similar to Hạ Long Bay or Ninh Binh, Sa Pa has been honored multiple times in tourism categories organized by famous media organizations. In early 2019, this destination reached the 6th position in the top most attractive destinations in Southeast Asia by the renowned travel publisher Rough Guides. 'This is a place that makes the hearts of adventure lovers beat fast. Exploring the terraced fields in the Muong Hoa Valley, overnighting on misty hills, or conquering Fansipan are unique and unparalleled experiences,' Rough Guides described. Photo: Shutterstock.

Hoi An (Quang Nam) has become one of the most attractive destinations in recent years in Vietnam, appealing to both domestic and international visitors. The city is known for its nostalgic beauty, slow-paced lifestyle, and unique cuisine. When in Hoi An, tourists should not miss the specialty bread and refreshing jasmine tea. Hoi An's ancient town is increasingly attracting international visitors, especially after winning the title of 'the world's greatest travel city' by Lonely Planet. Prior to this, CNN also included Hoi An in the list of the 13 most beautiful cities in Asia. Despite tourism development, the overwhelming number of visitors has led many to believe that Hoi An is losing its inherent tranquility. According to statistics, Hoi An welcomed 3 million tourists in the first six months of the year, a 15.26% increase compared to the same period. Photo: Nghiem Dinh Chinh.
