Require assistance resolving Bkav hang-ups on Windows 10 caused by BkavAuto.Sys?

I recently upgraded my operating system to Windows 10 a few days ago. After installing some necessary software, I attempted to install the Bkav antivirus software on Windows 10, but the program froze and became unusable.

As explained above, I'm hoping Mytour and fellow users can shed light on the reason behind this and provide solutions. Much appreciated!

Greetings, when Bkav freezes on Windows 10, it's likely due to a conflict between the Windows 10 operating system and the Bkav software. As you're aware, Windows 10 comes with Windows Defender - the default antivirus program. Hence, you need to disable or uninstall

Windows Defender to avoid conflicts between the two antivirus programs.

Follow these steps:

Download the Windows 10 installation file
Get the latest version of Bkav
Refer to how to install win 10 for those who are unfamiliar with the Windows 10 installation process.

In Windows 10, enter defender into the Search the web or windows window -> Choose Windows Defender settings

Next, switch Real-time protection, Clout-based Protection, and Sample submission to Off

At that point, Windows Defender will be in the At risk state. Thus, you've successfully disabled the Windows Defender application.

Now, reinstall Bkav and you won't experience the Bkav freezing issue anymore. Best of luck to you!
