Step 1: Download and install Acronis Disk Director on your computer.
If you haven't already, you can download the latest version of Acronis Disk Director
Step 2: Open the software as an Administrator --> you will be shown all the drives currently available on the system.
Step 3: To resize a drive, right-click on the drive you want to resize and select Resize volume, or choose it from the left menu of the software:
Step 4: In the Change size window, use your mouse to drag the slider to the desired size for the new volume or enter the value for the new volume in Unalocated space after volume --> click OK to create the new volume.
Step 5: After creating the new volume, select it and right-click, then choose Create volume, or select it from the left menu to assign values to this volume.
Step 6: When the Select the type of volume being created window appears, simply click Next.
The Select an unalocated space where you want to create a volume window appears, click Next.
Step 7: A new window appears where you need to enter some information for the new volume, such as: File system: NTFS (recommended), Volume label: name of the new volume. Once you've filled in the information, click Finish to complete the creation of the new volume.
Step 8: You will see a new drive added to the system with the information you provided. Click Commit pending operations to accept the changes and Restart your computer to complete the process.
