Encountering data transfer issues between your PC and phone? Here's how to fix sudden connection failures or undetected Android devices via USB.
Previously introduced, connecting Android to PCs wirelessly using WebSharing, we now present a solution for connection issues using SnapPea.
Requirements: Install SnapPea on both PC and Android. Download links: SnapPea for Android and SnapPea for PC. Tested on LG L9 device.
Step 1: Download SnapPea for Android from the provided link above
Step 2: Launch the app and choose to connect Android to PC. This can be done via Wifi or USB cable. Here, we'll test with a USB cable for cases of USB recognition or driver errors.
Step 3: Turn on your Android device and go to 'Settings'
Navigate to 'Developer options'
Step 4: Enable 'USB debugging' in the Developer options
Step 5: Install and run the SnapPea software on your PC
After installation, click on 'Launch Snappea' to start the application.
Step 6: Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable.
Then click the 'Connect' button on the software.
Wait for Snappea on your computer to connect to your phone, it will automatically search for and install the necessary drivers.
When the 'Turn on USB debugging' screen appears, select Android versions 4.2-4.4.
Next, the software prompts to download the driver for your device, click 'Install' to download and install.
Finally, after the drivers are installed, your Android device will automatically connect to the computer via USB cable.
