Have you observed unexpected changes in your TikTok account? Or are you unable to log in anymore? Take immediate action upon detecting a hacked TikTok account.

1. Change Your Password
If you still have access to your TikTok account when suspicious activity is detected, promptly change your password.
Step 1: Launch the TikTok app and tap on Profile at the bottom right corner.

Step 2: Navigate to the three-bar icon at the top right corner of the screen >> Settings and Privacy.

Step 3: Select “Account Management” and then “Password”.

Step 4: Enter your old password and set a new one.

After resetting your password, follow the instructions below to log out of your account on unfamiliar devices.
Go back to the Settings screen, this time select Security.

Open Your Devices.

Click on the Trash Bin icon next to the non-owned device. This action will log out your account on that device.
Confirm Delete.

2. Recovering Your TikTok Account When Unable to Log In
If your password has been changed by a malicious party, and you cannot log in, you can reset it using your phone number or email. This can only be done if you have previously linked your phone number or email to your TikTok account.
Step 1: Launch the TikTok app, tap Profile.
