Note: Before blocking views of diaries, make sure to open and log in to Zalo.
1. How to Block Others from Viewing Your Zalo Diaries
Step 1: In Zalo, at the bottom right corner, click on the person icon. Then, at the top right corner, click on the settings icon.
Step 2: Click on 'Diary and Moments' and then proceed to click 'Block others from viewing your diary.'
Step 3: At the top right corner, click on 'Add. Now, scroll and select the person you want to block from viewing your diary (you can choose more than one person).
Step 4: After selecting, click on the send icon at the top right corner. Zalo will then confirm the successful addition, and the blocked list will be displayed as shown in image 8.
2. How to Block Others from Viewing Your Zalo Moments
In addition to blocking Zalo diaries, you can also block Zalo Moments.
Step 1: In Zalo, at the bottom right corner, click on the person icon. Then, at the top right corner, click the settings icon.
Step 2: Click on 'Diary and Moments' and then click 'Block others from viewing your Moments.'
Step 3: At the top right corner, click on 'Add. The friends list appears; slide and select the individuals you want to block (multiple selections are possible at once).
Step 4: After selecting, click on the send icon at the top right corner. Zalo will confirm the successful addition, and the list of blocked friends will be displayed.
3. How to Block Views of Zalo Diaries by Limiting Viewing Time
Step 1: In Zalo, at the bottom right corner, click on the person icon (Image 1). Then, at the top right corner, click the settings icon (Image 2).
Step 2: Click on 'Privacy Settings' (Image 3) and then click ' Allow friends to view diaries' (Image 4).
Step 3: Now, various options appear. Depending on your preference, you can choose different settings (Image 5)
- Entire diary: Allows friends to view all diaries.
- Last 7 days: Allows friends to view diaries from the last 7 days.
- Last 1 month: Allows friends to view diaries from the last month.
- Last 6 months: Allows friends to view diaries from the last 6 months.
- Custom: Lets you customize the time frame friends can view diaries.
For instance, Mytour chooses 'Custom' (Image 5). Now, the day, month, year will be displayed, and you select the appropriate date for friends to see posts before the chosen date (Image 6). After selecting, click 'Choose.'
Step 4: Press 'Save' to complete the setup.
Successfully implement the method to block others from viewing your Zalo diaries. No more worries about unwanted interruptions; your Zalo moments will remain hidden from prying eyes.
If you've blocked someone in a fit of anger, you can also unblock them to allow access to your personal information when needed. After unblocking, the user can view your photos, status, and comments as usual. You can always re-block them whenever you want, following the mentioned steps.
