The next morning, Son Tinh arrived early with the full dowry and proudly escorted Mi Nuong back to the mountains. Thuy Tinh, arriving later, saw Mi Nuong taken by Son Tinh and became furious, leading his troops to pursue and attempt to seize Mi Nuong.
