Step 1: Press Windows+R to open Run, then type regedit to access Registry Editor.
Step 2: Navigate through Registry Editor:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background.
Step 3: Manipulate OEMBackground -> change the value in Value to 1.
Step 4: Click OK and close this interface -> Open Run and type gpedit.msc -> follow this path: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon.
Step 5: Right-click on Always use custom login background ->set to Enabled mode.
Step 6: Click Apply ->OK and close the dialog box.
Step 7: Prepare your own image in .jpg format, less than 256Kb in size, with a resolution around 640*480 pixels for optimal appearance. Rename the image to backgroundDefault.jpg -> navigate to the folder at C:\Windows\System32\oobe.
Step 8: Create a folder for the default background within the oobe directory, then create a subfolder named info within it. Inside the info folder, create another folder named backgrounds -> copy your prepared custom background image into this folder.
After that, simply Restart your computer to see the results.
