As revealed after the Crimson Love Letter, movie 25 will tell the story of Amuro/Bourbon/Rei Furuya during his time at the police academy.
According to the latest information released in the magazine, the upcoming film will be titled Detective Conan: The Bride Of Halloween - Detective Conan Movie 25: The Halloween Bride. The film is said to feature Takagi and Sato, and many viewers predict that this couple will tie the knot. Most recently, the plot of Conan movie 25 has been revealed, with specific details as follows:
'Shibuya - Tokyo filled with Halloween atmosphere.
A wedding is taking place at Shibuya Hikarie.
There, Metropolitan Police Sergeant Sato is the bride and appears in her wedding dress. While Conan and the guests are observing, a stranger suddenly rushes in to attack, injuring Inspector Takagi - who's always trying to protect Sato.
Takagi survives and things are resolved, but Sato's eyes are filled with images of the Shinigami (Death God) she saw three years ago when Inspector Matsuda was killed in a bombing. Meanwhile, the perpetrator of the series of bombings has also escaped. Is this truly just a random coincidence? National Security Bureau member Rei Furuya (Toru Amuro) hunts down the one who killed his colleague (Matsuda), but a mysterious figure has appeared and attached a bomb to his neck.
Conan arrives at the underground hideout where Amuro is hiding to defuse the bomb and learns about the incident three years ago, when he and his classmates encountered an unknown bomber named 'Pramya' in Shibuya. As Conan and the others investigate, a shadow is targeting them. Now, Halloween becomes a wild ride.
Detective Conan Movie 25: The Bride Of Halloween will be produced by TMS Entertainment. The director of the film is Susumu Mitsunaka. The screenplay is by Takahiro Ookura, who wrote the stories for Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire and Crimson Love Letter.
According to the plan, Detective Conan Movie 25: The Halloween Bride will officially premiere in Japan on April 15, 2022. Prior to that, on December 4, 2021, the anime series adapted from the police academy side story will be introduced to the audience.
