You can choose from two common types of transportation: bus and motorbike.
Bus: From Ben Thanh Market, take bus number 20 to Nha Be and stop at Binh Khanh ferry terminal. Then take bus number 90 straight to the beach. You can get off at any tourist spot because there are no bus stops in Can Gio.
Motorbike: Starting from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, go to Tan Thuan Bridge (District 7), then turn onto Nguyen Van Linh Street towards Huynh Tan Phat and continue straight to Binh Khanh ferry terminal. Buy a ticket to Can Gio at the ferry terminal. From there, you will encounter a road running straight from Can Gio to the center of Can Thanh commune. Along this road, you can visit Can Gio Beach, Thanh An Island, etc. But for peace of mind, you should check the road signs to avoid getting lost.
