According to the report, the Pixel 8 will feature a 4,485mAh battery supporting 24W wired charging and 20W wireless charging. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro will sport a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired charging and 23W wireless charging.
Comparatively, Pixel 7 comes with a 4,270mAh battery supporting 20W wired charging and 20W wireless charging, while Pixel 7 Pro boasts a 4,926mAh battery with 23W wired charging and 23W wireless charging.
As known, the upcoming Pixel phones may be equipped with the all-new Tensor G3 chipset. Pixel 8 will feature a 6.17-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, and 427 ppi pixel density. Pixel 8 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,344 x 2,992 pixels, up to 1,600 nits brightness, and 490 ppi pixel density. These phones will come preloaded with Android 14 upon release.
The Pixel 8 duo will have an 11-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup of the standard model will feature a 50-megapixel GN2 main camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 ultra-wide camera. The rear camera system of the Pixel 8 Pro will include a 50-megapixel Samsung GN2 main camera, a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 telephoto camera.
