A recent report from GSMChina indicates that Xiaomi is in the process of developing a new device named Xiaomi MIX 5 in China. The publication reveals that it has appeared in the GSMA IMEI database with the model number 2503AVP01C. The four numbers suggest that the device could be launched in March 2025. Therefore, there is a possibility that it could debut alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra at that time next year.

The mentioned model number belongs to the Chinese variant of Xiaomi MIX 5, indicating there may not be any global or Indian variants of the device. So, what did the DCS consulting expert reveal? We'll have to wait for further reports to learn more about the aforementioned device.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is also reportedly developing the Xiaomi MIX Flip for the Chinese market. This would be the company's first clamshell foldable phone. So far, reports have revealed that it bears the model number 2311BPN23C and is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.
