As a result, many are hopeful that the South Korean company will continue this trend with the flagship Galaxy
S24 Ultraexpected to launch next year, but it seems like that might not be the case.
The Galaxy S23 UltraSpecifically, renowned leaker @UniverseIce has just revealed information indicating that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will reuse the main ISOCELL HP2 200MP sensor from the Ultra. Samsung's next flagship will also feature a 12MP Sony IMX754 sensor for the telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP Sony IMX564 sensor for the ultra-wide-angle camera. The only sensor upgraded is the telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, with the company rumored to use the slightly upgraded 12MP Sony IMX754+ sensor for an extended optical zoom range.
If this information proves accurate, Samsung seems to bring only minor hardware improvements to the Galaxy S24 Ultra's camera. Therefore, our expectations may rely on the South Korean company enhancing the phone's photo quality through software algorithms.
Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy S24 series early next year. Let's eagerly await the revelation!
