In my assessment, the scores achieved by Dell Inspiron 3530 are competitive, meaning they are neither significantly inferior nor superior to many devices in the same segment. Additionally, the version I am using has not activated the Intel Iris Xe Graphics card yet, so the above scores do not represent the full potential of this laptop. If fully optimized, I believe the performance will be even more outstanding.

In parallel with performance ratings, I also used Dell Inspiron 3530 to play FC Online. In this game title, I adjusted the graphics to appropriate levels and used MSI Afterburner software to measure FPS, CPU temperature, RAM consumption, etc., to provide you with a more visual understanding.

With FC Online, Dell Inspiron 3530 achieves an average frame rate of around 60 FPS or higher, sometimes dropping in certain situations due to unstable home network. The gaming experience is relatively good, with smooth in-game movements and decent graphics reproduction. While occasional lag may occur, it's not frequent.

Additionally, I used Crystal Diskmark Shizuku software to measure the read/write speed of the SSD drive inside Dell Inspiron 3530. The results obtained are as follows:

Dell Inspiron 3530 demonstrates relatively fast data read/write speeds, with results comparable to many other competitors in the same range. Therefore, the device can assist me in swiftly transferring data.

Dell Inspiron 3530 offers nearly 4 hours of continuous battery usage

Battery life is a crucial concern for many laptop users alongside performance. I utilized BatteryMon software to assess the battery life of Dell Inspiron 3530, dividing the usage into two different scenarios.

- Scenario 1: Regular tasks without gaming:

• Battery life: 3 hours 47 minutes.
• Measurement duration: 1 hour.
• Screen brightness at 100% and battery saver mode disabled.
• Headphones plugged in, volume set at 70%.
• USB mouse connected.

- Scenario 2: Regular tasks with 20 minutes of gaming:

• Battery life: 2 hours 25 minutes.
• Measurement duration: 1 hour.
• Screen brightness at 100% and battery saver mode disabled.
• Headphones plugged in, volume set at 70%.
• USB mouse connected.

As you can see from the above results, the battery life of Dell Inspiron 3530 stands out compared to many other laptops in the same segment that I've previously evaluated. Under real-world usage conditions (screen at 100% brightness, with connections like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth enabled, external speakers at 70% volume), the device can last for over 4 hours of continuous operation. This also indicates that there's not much difference between test results and real-world usage. Therefore, I believe users can expect a similar usage duration under real-world conditions.

Furthermore, the cooling capability of Dell Inspiron 3530 is quite high, and I also used HWiNFO64 software to provide you with a clearer insight. Here are the results I obtained:

The results show that the CPU and GPU temperatures of Dell Inspiron 3530 after one hour of usage are above 80 degrees Celsius. This is a very high figure compared to a typical ultrabook, and when I consulted a few other sources, similar results were also found. This is also evident externally, specifically through the laptop's fan, which makes quite a loud noise even during regular usage or gaming. Additionally, the keyboard area is also the hottest spot.

This could be seen as a slight weakness of Dell Inspiron 3530 that Dell could consider addressing through some software updates or predecessor generations. Despite the heat, I still don't feel uncomfortable using it because most of the heat is dissipated from the sides of the machine.
