FAU-G or Fearless and United Guards is one of the most loudly advertised games in India, and for good reason. This Made-in-India game is an action shooting game revolving around real-life events in Indian history. It has an in-game store where you can purchase goods and contribute to the Indian Army. It even has its own national anthem.
However, the evaluation of FAU-G
FAU-G Finally Officially Launched on January 26th. This backyard garden game has received a lot of positive reviews from the Indian gaming community on social media. However, there are many who praise it, but there are also many who criticize it, saying that FAUG still has a long way to go to match PUBG Mobile. To see if this game, considered to be the top competitor of PUBG Mobile, meets players' expectations or not, let's evaluate FAUG together.
Reviewing FAUG Game
1. The Storyline of FAU-G
- Evaluation: 3.5/5
While many compare PUBG Mobile and FAU-G, it's important to note that games produced in India are not necessarily survival shooting games like PUBG Mobile or Free Fire. The game follows a different concept and storyline.
FAU-G revolves around the mission of defending the country by the Indian army against enemies. The game offers 3 game modes including Campaign, Team Deathmatch, and Free For All. However, the latter 2 modes are currently unavailable.
The Campaign mode relives the events in the Galway Valley, where players take on the role of a soldier named Lieutenant Dhillon. You'll have to navigate, search for supplies, endure harsh conditions, and fight against enemies to complete missions and return to your team.
2. Graphics of FAU-G
- Rating: 4/5
As this is the first version of FAU-G, Mytour doesn't want to be too strict in evaluating the game's graphics. However, when compared to the first version of PUBG Mobile or Call of Duty Mobile, the graphics of Fearless and United Guards are only average. While the low-quality graphics make the game blurry, the medium and high-quality graphics are rated well. However, there isn't much difference between the two graphics levels.
Nevertheless, it seems that the developer nCORE Games should make more effort to improve the graphics quality in future versions of the game.
3. FAU-G Gameplay
- Rating: 2/5
The article will focus on the single-player campaign mode as this is the only mode available to play in the game at the moment. Although the graphics and storyline seem impressive, FAU-G's gameplay may leave you disappointed. The game mainly focuses on close combat rather than gunfights, with weapons like sticks, axes, and spears. This gameplay can still be enjoyable if the developer keeps it on the right track. However, the competitiveness is quite low as your enemies are nothing but bots, some of which don't even know how to fight back. It's easy to defeat enemies even when you're outnumbered by 3 or 4 of them. Even in the midst of battle, if you decide to stay away from the enemies, they will simply leave instead of chasing you.
The gameplay is currently limited to three elements - movement, attack, and defense. This can make players feel like the game is repetitive as they progress deeper into it. The difficulty of the game is shown in the fact that you have to face more enemies in later levels, and they will attack you all at once. Another challenge is time. Missions will fail, and you'll have to return to the last checkpoint if you don't meet the time requirements.
With both the protagonist and antagonist speaking random and meaningless lines throughout the battle, the game still has a long way to go in terms of improvement and refinement before it can truly become an entertaining game for professional players.
Meanwhile, the game's settings only allow players to adjust some basic features such as sound or graphics. There are only 2 sensitivity parameters to adjust, and the difference between these 2 parameters is very small.
4. Conclusion
After months of waiting, it can be said that FAU-G is not as expected. Although it has a decent storyline and graphics, the features and gameplay of the game are boring and dull, making it difficult to keep players engaged for a long time. However, this is only the first version of the game, and the developer will surely update new content and bring more improvements to their product through future updates.
