OPPO Find N2 Flip features a compact clamshell fold design, and a secondary screen with many features
In terms of appearance, the OPPO Find N2 Flip stands out with its clamshell fold design, similar to previously released foldable smartphones like the Galaxy Z Flip4, Motorola Razr 2022, and Huawei P50 Pocket. With this folding mechanism, when opened, the OPPO Find N2 Flip will give us a phone with standard dimensions like usual, but when folded, the device looks very compact like a compact mirror, so you can easily put it in your pocket for convenient mobility.
In this folded state, compared to the recently launched Galaxy Z Flip 4, the OPPO Find N2 Flip will have an edge thanks to eliminating the gap between the two halves, allowing the device to fold tightly. While not the only device capable of this, personally, I still highly appreciate the OPPO Find N2 Flip for its ability to minimize dust or foreign objects falling into the gap between the two halves of the screen, which can damage the device.

Additionally, the hinge - the backbone of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, as well as the foldable phones developed by OPPO, have been upgraded with a new FlexForm mechanism that allows the device to open the screen at angles from 45 to 125 degrees to serve various usage needs. Moreover, besides being engraved with the 'OPPO' logo, the hinge of the device is also presented with a wavy surface that looks very elegant and beautiful.
Looking from the back, this area of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is crafted from matte metal or glossy glass depending on the color, giving the device a beautiful and durable appearance. Moreover, this design style also minimizes sweat and fingerprint smudges, making it more resistant to unpleasant marks. Additionally, the frame of the device is curved softly, providing a relatively snug grip and a substantial, comfortable feel when holding the device in the folded position.

Furthermore, the back of the OPPO Find N2 Flip stands out with a fairly large dual-camera cluster, accompanied by a wide 3.26-inch secondary screen, with a resolution of 720×382 pixels and many outstanding features. To see more details, check out the images below!
Moving to the front, this area of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is the main display featuring a hole-punch design housing the familiar selfie camera, covered by an ultra-thin UTG glass layer with exceptional durability and flexibility to withstand the high folding amplitude of the device.

Moreover, the main display of the OPPO Find N2 Flip boasts a 6.8-inch size with Full HD+ resolution (2520 x 1080 pixels), utilizing an AMOLED panel and notably a 120 Hz refresh rate, delivering a crisp image quality, vibrant colors, and smooth transitions for web browsing, video streaming, and gaming.
OPPO Find N2 Flip impresses with MariSilicon X imaging and Hasselblad camera
Before delving into details, let's quickly go over some camera specs of the OPPO Find N2 Flip for your reference!
- Main camera - Wide angle: 50 MP resolution, f/1.8 aperture, supports AF focus.
- Ultra-wide angle camera: 8 MP resolution, f/2.2 aperture, captures up to 112-degree field of view.
- Selfie camera: 32 MP resolution, f/2.4 aperture, 90-degree wide angle, supports AF focus.

Not only featuring a unique clamshell foldable design, the OPPO Find N2 Flip also inherits the 'Camera Phone' spirit that OPPO has been pursuing, with a dual-camera system fine-tuned by Hasselblad, alongside the MariSilicon X NPU with AI-powered image processing algorithms, making the captures and recordings from this camera setup more impressive. Let's take a look at some photos captured by the OPPO Find N2 Flip through the images below.
- Photos taken by OPPO Find N2 Flip in sufficient lighting conditions
Under ideal lighting conditions, the main camera of the OPPO Find N2 Flip can capture impressive photos with pleasant colors and accurate white balance. Contrast and details are well-rendered, although some noise may appear, it's intelligently processed by the system, smoothing out details like clouds in the sky. Additionally, the OPPO Find N2 Flip offers a 50 MP shooting mode, with image quality almost indistinguishable from lower resolutions, but with significantly larger file sizes.
Furthermore, the OPPO Find N2 Flip provides users with a 2x zoom mode from the main camera, producing sharp images under sufficient lighting. The higher resolution results in more visible noise, yet the images still look pleasing when viewed on the screen due to the smart intervention of the integrated AI system, similar to default mode captures.
In portrait mode, the main camera of the OPPO Find N2 Flip can deliver excellent results by providing superior and accurate subject detection and separation performance, while the bokeh effect is also executed naturally.
Turning to the ultra-wide-angle camera of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, under sufficient lighting conditions, this lens can produce fairly decent photos. Although some noise is still present, it has been well processed, resulting in softer image details. However, the color range of the photos is accurately and realistically represented.
- Photos taken by the OPPO Find N2 Flip in low-light conditions
When captured in low-light conditions, the photography system of the OPPO Find N2 Flip applies Night Mode processing automatically in the default Photo mode. As a result, you will get almost identical photos in both modes, especially with the main camera at 1x. In this mode, the captured photos have good exposure with wide dynamic range, well-handled shadows, and optimized highlights. Additionally, the color range is well represented, and there are no issues with white balance.
At 2x zoom level, the OPPO Find N2 Flip won't use the Auto Night Mode, so the difference between default and manual night shots is noticeable. In default mode, photos will have more overexposed areas and notably dense noise in darker regions, although details appear more natural in well-lit areas. In Night Mode, while sharpness may improve slightly, the display of shadows and highlights also sees significant enhancement.
Turning to the ultra-wide-angle camera of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, in low-light conditions, it seems like this lens tries to capture prominent features but doesn't always succeed, with darker areas often underexposed and overly soft. However, the only upside is that the color saturation remains good and there's little difference between default and night mode shots.
- Selfie Shot by OPPO Find N2 Flip
In ideal lighting conditions, selfies captured by the OPPO Find N2 Flip's front camera exhibit impressive detail. They tend to be softer but still quite sharp. Regarding color balance, there's a slight tendency towards a greenish hue, although this doesn't affect the subject's skin tones, but the surrounding environment may appear slightly different.

On the OPPO Find N2 Flip, besides using the 32 MP front camera for regular selfies, the device also allows users to utilize the rear camera for selfies with the support of the external display. In terms of quality, they are similar to default photos, even more vibrant, but often flipped compared to regular shots.

From the specifications table above, we can see that the OPPO Find N2 Flip is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor. This is an overclocked version of the Dimensity 9000 with an octa-core CPU, including one Cortex-X2 core clocked up to 3.20 GHz, three Cortex-A710 performance cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 efficiency cores clocked at 1.80 GHz, all manufactured on an advanced 4nm process. Although the next generation, Dimensity 9100, currently dominates the market share, the Dimensity 9000+ remains an impressive chipset, enabling the OPPO Find N2 Flip to handle all necessary user tasks seamlessly.

Furthermore, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is equipped with the latest LPDDR5 8GB RAM, allowing users to multitask or customize interfaces with smooth dynamic effects without experiencing lag. Additionally, the device boasts 256GB of internal storage, sufficient for users to store personal data or favorite games.

To assess the performance that the Dimensity 9000+ can deliver for the OPPO Find N2 Flip, Gizmochina's reviewer conducted several tests using Antutu, 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, and GeekBench 5. The results are as follows:
- Antutu: 1,023,834 points.
- 3D Wild Life Extreme: 2,692 points, stability 36.1%.
- GeekBench 5: Single-core 1,355 points, Multi-core 4,333 points.

Compared to its counterpart with similar specifications, the Xiaomi 13 Pro, we can see that the performance of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is slightly inferior, especially in stability testing with 3D Wild Life Extreme, where the OPPO Find N2 Flip becomes quite hot with temperatures reaching 48.5 degrees Celsius, resulting in unstable device performance. The reason may originate from the OPPO Find N2 Flip's compact folding design, as equipping a good cooling system becomes much more limited compared to a monolithic device like the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

Although in tests, the OPPO Find N2 Flip shows some instability, in real-world usage, the device still demonstrates its superior processing capabilities. Specifically, when the author used the device to play heavy games, the device could smoothly handle an average frame rate of 59 FPS for PUBG Mobile and 46 FPS for Genshin Impact, so for lower-level tasks like web browsing, watching movies, etc., they are not major issues compared to the responsiveness of the OPPO Find N2 Flip.

OPPO Find N2 Flip with 4,300mAh battery offers adequate usage time
Despite its compact design, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is equipped with a 4,300mAh battery, which is considerably larger than the 3,700mAh battery of its rival, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. So, with a larger battery like this, how long can the OPPO Find N2 Flip operate?

According to GSMArena's battery test under ideal conditions, the 4,300mAh battery of the OPPO Find N2 Flip can last for over 27 hours of continuous 3G talk time, 15 hours and 24 minutes of web browsing, and over 19 hours of continuous video playback. However, in practical tests conducted by Gizmochina, when the author used the device for continuous web browsing, taking photos, streaming videos, or playing games like PUBG Mobile, Genshin Impact (30 minutes for each task), the device dropped to only 49% after just 2.5 hours of testing. This indicates that while the battery of the OPPO Find N2 Flip is good, it is not quite robust enough to handle heavy tasks for an extended period.
Furthermore, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is equipped with 44W fast charging capability, and according to the manufacturer's claim, the device can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 23 minutes. To verify this, GSMArena's testing team also conducted a charging test, concluding that the OPPO Find N2 Flip reached 62% charge in just 30 minutes, and then took another 58 minutes to fully charge.
How much does the OPPO Find N2 Flip cost? Is it worth buying?
In the Chinese market, the starting price of OPPO Find N2 Flip is from 5,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately 20.8 million Vietnamese Dong). Compared to other competitors in the market, I find this price level quite attractive for a foldable smartphone with not only powerful specifications but also many exciting features coming from the secondary display and the photography system like the OPPO Find N2 Flip. Additionally, if you desire to own a smartphone with a balance in all hardware aspects and features, the OPPO Find N2 Flip is definitely a worthwhile consideration.
