Regarding design, the overall appearance of the Redmi 8 bears a striking resemblance to its predecessor, the Redmi 7. Specifically, this phone adopts a waterdrop notch screen, with a relatively sizable 'chin' section to accommodate the Redmi logo, and a subtly curved back for enhanced user comfort during handling.

The Redmi 8 is also equipped with a very large 5,000mAh battery. Additionally, the Redmi 8 supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging, allowing you to charge the device up to 65% in just one hour with an 18W charger. However, only a standard 10W charger is included in the box. In terms of software, the device runs on Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 user interface. You get a familiar interface and useful customizations.
In this price segment, you can't expect very high specifications. For heavy games like Arena of Valor, Free Fire, make sure to adjust the settings to medium or low for the best performance!
