Currently, this Grande model has up to 3 versions. Compared to the original standard version, the 2 special versions and the limited edition released later will mainly differ in design and some equipment, features on the scooter.
- Design
The overall design of all 3 types of scooters is very feminine, elegant, and extremely classy, suitable for the female audience. The dimensions of the scooters are kept the same, specifically as follows: length x width x height: 1820mm x 685mm x 1150mm, weight: 100kg (wet weight: 101kg), seat height: 790mm, wheelbase: 1280mm, ground clearance: 125mm.
The special and limited editions will have some minor details changed to create highlights and enhance modernity, such as the LED headlights designed in 2 layers to stand out more, or the dashboard part also changed to a more modern TFT type for the special edition, while for the premium edition, it is an LCD type.
- Engine
The engine part of all 3 versions is the same. Specifically, Yamaha Grande utilizes the Blue Core engine, SOHC, single-cylinder with a displacement of 125cc. The engine comprises 4 strokes, 2 valves, and a forced air cooling system. This engine block delivers a maximum power of 8.3PS at 6500 rpm and a maximum torque of 1.1 kgf.m at 5000 rpm.
Some other information about the Yamaha Grande engine is as follows: compression ratio 11:1, piston diameter x stroke 52.4 x 57.9mm, primary and secondary transmission ratio: 1,000/7.773 (50/17 x 37/14), final drive ratio: 2.561 – 0.829:1.
