Another option is the Train, departing from Hanoi station between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM, reaching Lào Cai station. From there, a transfer bus, priced at 40,000đ, will take you up to Sapa town.

The peak season in Sapa is during the ripe rice season, around September to October, when rooms tend to be in high demand. I chose to visit in July, making it easier to secure a room at a more reasonable price.
